JACK M. TERRY, SR. was born June 15, 1899 &
was in the Ranger High School Class of 1918 at
Ranger, TX. He was the son of Nancy Virginia
Whitehead & Dr. Peyton R. Terry. Jack died in
June of 1986 and had lived at Houston, TX. He
married June Cathey, also of the RHS Class of
1918 in 1934 and they had been married 51 years
when he died. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery
in Ranger.
Survivors at the time of his death are his wife,
June Terry, of Houston, a son, Jack M. Terry, Jr.
and his wife Eden R. Terry of Houston; grandsons,
Jack M. Terry, III and Joseph Denney Terry both
of Houston; and a sister, Ruth Terry Denney (RHS-
1918) of El Dorado, AR.
