CHRISTINA S. SCHMUCK DOSWELL MAJOR, 79, died in
Nov. of 1986 at Houston, TX. She was born April 13,
1906 in Missouri to Rudolph M. and Mina Hagerty
Schmuck. Christina attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1924 at Ranger, TX & North Texas
State Teachers College in Denton, TX. She married
Thomas W. Doswell and later James E. Major. She
lived at a number places in Missouri, Illinois,
Oklahoma, New York, & Texas. Her siblings were
Virginia Jewel, Laura Laprell, Rudolph Schmuck,
& Barbara Schmuck.
