FRANCES PAULINE OWEN DREINHOFER, formerly
of Ranger, TX died on April 14, 2002 in Austin, TX
following a brief illness.
Born in Altus, OK, on Oct. 13, 1908, Frances was the
only daughter of Charles E. & Iva Sue Stokes Owen of
Eastland. Frances married William "Bill" Dreinhofer
(RHS-1926) of Ranger in May of 1936 in Eastland. Bill's
job with Tenneco took the couple to locations in Texas,
Tennessee & Mississippi before they retired back to
Ranger.
At the time of her death, Frances is survived by her two
daughters, Susan D. Adams of Round Rock, Texas and Dana
Lynn Dreinhofer of Laramie, WY; son-in-law Gene Adams
and granddaughter Savanna Jane Adams of Round Rock; and
grandson James Owen Boucher of Corvallis, OR.
Other surviving Laramie family members include grandson
Joel David Boucher; granddaughter Keller Ruan Boucher;
and great- grandson Falcon Boucher. Also surviving are
two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Dreinhofer Van de Putte
of Detroit and Lois Drinkard Dreinhofer (RHS-1930),
formerly of Ranger, now of Fort Worth.
Also surviving are 10 nieces and nephews, 22 great-nieces
and nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews living
in New York City, Washington State, and Texas cities of
Austin, Brownwood, Dallas, Denver, Elgin, Houston, New
Braunfels and Waco. Close family friends include Virginia
Weaver Russell of Eastland, Karen Cribari of Albuquerque,
NM, and Wendy King and her two children, Jonathan and
Nicole, of Laramie.
During recent reminisces Frances said she'd been blessed
with a good life and wonderful moments with loved ones--
family and friends.
