FANNIE LOIS COX BURTS WHITE, 85, died in Feb. of
1994. She was born on April 9, 1908 in Turkey
Creek, TX to John W. (teacher) & Frances Spence
Cox. Fannie attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1925/1926 at Ranger, TX and married
Samuel P. Burks. Their daughter was Carolyn
Burks who died in 2000. Later her married name
was White. Her siblings were Gussie Cox, Claudia
Cox, Anna Cox Walker (RHS-1923), and Glenn Cox
(RHS-1932).
