ANNA BELL THOMAS STALLINGS, 92, passed
away in 2002, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery
in Ranger, TX.
Mrs. Stallings was born on May 6, 1910 in Eastland
County, TX, to William Reese & Ula L. (Williams)
Thomas. She attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1927 at Ranger, TX. She married Glenn
Stallings in Nov. of 1929 in Oklahoma. She owned
and operated the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in
Big Springs for 25 years. She was a member of the
Eastside Church of Christ in Ranger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn
Stallings; son, E.L. "Pete" Stallings (RHS-1953);
& daughter, Jo Ann Thompson (RHS-1947).
Survivors at the time of her death include grand-
children, Sharion Moore and husband Larry, O'Lita
Nahoui Kaika and husband Charley, Temple Thompson,
Vonita Gass and husband Woody, and Twila Hanson
and husband Karl; six great-grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Allen Thomas
and wife Marilyn; and numerous other nieces and
nephews. William Thomas (RHS-1943) was her brother.
