ANNA LEE WALKER, 94, of Ranger, TX died on
July 18, 2005, with cremation in Abilene, TX.
Mrs. Walker was born in Eden, TX, on Oct. 13, 1910,
to the late J.B. and Tinnie (Lindsey) Lee. She lived
in Ranger, TX most of her life and was a member of
the Eastside Baptist Church. She attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1928. She worked as a nurse
at most of the area hospitals.
At the time of her death, she was survived by a
daughter, Yvonne Blackburn (RHS-1956) of Ranger;
one sister, Leverne King, also of Ranger; two
grandchildren, Ben Yarbrough of Ponder, TX and
Robert Blackburn of Reddick, FL; five great-grand-
children and two great-great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents.
