ELLA JOY INGRAM BROWN, 53, was killed when her
station wagon hit a bridge near Ranger, TX on
Nov. 28, 1962. Burial was in Bullock Cememtery
near Ranger. She was born on May 29, 1909 in
Stephens County, TX to Jim P. and Avie Latham
Ingram. Ella attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1928 and married John M. Brown who
died in 1960. She was a former "Miss Ranger" in
a beauty contest about 1929. Her brother was
Alvis Ingram (RHS-1930).
