FREDRICK EDDY "FRED" GRANT, 61, passed away on
May 17. 1970 at Wichita Falls, TX, with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX. He was born
on Jan. 12, 1909 in Texas to Ira and Ola Smith
Grant. Fred attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1929 & served in the U.S. Army during
WWII. He married Mildred Franklin in 1942 and
their son was Freddie Grant (RHS-1960). His
siblings were Mildred Grant Hamilton (RHS-1928),
Lucille Grant Chorn (RHS-1931), & Jessie Grant
White (RHS-1933).
