Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1930

Arthur Deffebach ARTHUR STEVENS DEFFEBACH, 93, a retired fleet manager for Lone Star Gas, died on Oct. 28, 2006, in Granbury. Burial was in Laurel Land Memorial Park at Dallas, TX. He was born on Feb. 9, 1913 in Snyder, TX to Thomas G. & Ethlyn Stevens Deffebach. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1930 at Ranger, TX. Arthur was a fleet manager for Lone Star Gas and retired after many years of service. He was active in church in Ranger, Dallas and Granbury. He was an avid fisherman and referred to himself as "Putterer" and "Mr. Fixit" to everyone who knew him. He & his wife, Edwina Williams (RHS Faculty), who preceded him in death, built their retirement home in Granbury with their own hands. Survivors: daughter, Mary Ellen Cribbs (RHS-1956) and husband, Jim, of Granbury; son, Don Morris Deffebach (RHS-1958) and wife, Carole, of Duncanville; five grandchildren; & 11 great-grandchildren. His siblings were Thomas Deffebach, Vernon Deffebach, Lyle Deffebach, Florence Deffebach, Francis Deffebach, & Beth Deffebach Ownby
