JOE NORMAN DENNIS, 42, of Lubbock, TX, was the
son of Joseph Allen & Ethel Long Dennis of Ranger
TX. He was born in Feb. 16 of 1916 and attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1932. Norman
was a brother to Alvin "Dwaine" Dennis (RHS-1941).
His father, Joe Dennis, was the longtime publisher
of the Ranger Times.
Norman died on June 23, 1958 of a heart attack
and was buried in Ranger. He was married to
Frances Maxine Jones & they had one daughter,
Jo Ann Dennis Rogers of Lubbock, TX.
WIFE: FRANCES MAXINE JONES DENNIS, 60, passed
away March 20, 1982, in Lubbock, TX, with burial at
Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. She was born on
March 21, 1921 in Strawn, TX, to Crawford & Pernia
Gailey Jones. She married Joe Norman Dennis (RHS-
1932). Her siblings were Geraldine Jones, Jim Jones,
Kenneth Jones, Bobby Jones, & Edward Jones.
