Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1932

NINA OLETA BRITT HENRY, 86 of Lubbock and formerly of Ranger, TX went to be with Jesus on Oct. 28, 2004, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Mrs. Henry was born in Afton, TX, on Feb. 25, 1918 to Adolphus Britt & Bertie Browning Britt. She graduated from Ranger High School in 1932. She worked in the family business and was a schoolteacher. She married Walter Henry in July of 1934 in Eastland, TX. Mrs. Henry was very involved as a pioneer member 80 years with the Church of God. Her other joys were her family and young people. She used to be youth director and Sunday school teacher. She also was a manager of teen town. Mrs. Henry died after a lengthy illness with her heart and was preceded in death by her devoted husband Walter Henry in 1980, her father and mother Adolphus and Bertie Britt, a loving brother Rankin Britt (RHS-1935). She is survived by daughters Elizabeth Teague & husband Denzell of Grants, NM, Betty Stephens and husband Dub of Lubbock, Nina Tramel (RHS-1960) of Lubbock. And a son, James Britt Henry (RHS-1961) of San Jose Costa Rica, & by her much loved grandchildren, Thersa, Davonna, Nina, Walter, Melissa, Christian, Tonya, Pam, Rena. Twenty great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild.
