Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1933

DEAH TIPPENS PRUITT SUDDUTH, 84, died on Jan. 17, 1998 in Clear Lake, TX, after a long illness. The deceased was born at the 10-Mile Bridge near Ft. Worth, TX, Oct. 14, 1913. She was the daughter of the late George W. & Eula Willoughby Tippens of Ft. Worth, TX. She was married to Benjamin Lincoln Pruitt and later to John Coleman Sudduth both of Ft. Worth, TX. She was a graduate of Ranger High School in 1933 at Ranger, TX and also a graduate of the All Saints Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She maintained and worked at this profession until she retired. She was a resident of Ranger from about 1928-1934 and again from 1952-1959. She had two children: Benjamin Henry Pruitt (deceased) and Edna Leona Pruitt Davenport (RHS-1958) of Alvin, TX, six grandchildren, & three great-grandchildren.
