OPAL WALKER ROGERS, 93, passed away July 13, 2008
in Ranger, TX, with burial in Bullock Cemetery near
Ranger.
Opal was born on July 11, 1915 in Palo Pinto County
to Elijah & Cora (Collins) Walker. She moved to the
Ranger community in 1922 and attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1933. Opal was a self-employed
hairdresser for 65 years. She married J.D. Rogers
in Fort Worth, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents & her husband.
She is survived by her daughters Letty Waters (RHS-1953)
& husband Richard, Patsy Lasater (RHS-1951) and husband
Max, grandchildren, Rick and Tim Waters, Tricia Blair,
& 10 great-grandchildren.
