DOROTHA REEVES INGRAM, 96, Mom, Gramma and
G.G. passed away July 13, 2009.
Dorothy was born Dec. 31, 1912, in Strawn, TX to
Wavie & Frank Reeves. She attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1933 at Ranger, TX. She
met & married Alvis Ingram (RHS-1930) in Ranger.
They had one son, Ronnie, & spent many years in
Fort Worth and retired on their farm in Ranger.
Dorotha moved back to Fort Worth following Alvis'
death. She loved being by family & friends. She
spent many wonderful years at the Palm House Retire-
ment apartments where she had many friends. She
had 93 years of great health and loved her walking.
She fell ill three years ago and spent this time
at The Plaza at Ridgmar, where she was blessed to
be so wonderfully cared for and loved. Her family
appreciates the care and love she received there.
She will be missed but is finally at peace. She
was so ready.
Survivors at the time of her death: Son, Ronald Ingram
and wife, Penny; granddaughter, Michel Matlock and her
husband, Derek; grandson, Jim Ingram and girlfriend,
Lauren Quinn; granddaughter, Jenny Knauss & her husband,
Todd; great-grandsons, Dylan, Ryan and Brett Matlock;
and great-grandson and great-granddaughter, Drew and
Zoe Knauss.
