JACK BAIRD BRITTAIN, 91, of Abilene, TX
died Oct. 18, 2008, with burial at the Pioneer
Cemetery in Graham, TX.
He was born March 11, 1917 in Mineral Wells,
TX to Jack & Winnie Brittain. He attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1934 at
Ranger, TX & married Marion Roberta Meyer
in 1938. She died in 1991. Jack was a veteran
of WWII, 96th Battalion, US Navy division of
the CBS. He worked in the oil fields and
enjoyed raising fruit crops at Fort Belknap.
Survived by two daughters Lynn Wicker and
Vicki Cates; two sons Steve & Jack Anthony
Brittain; 10 grandchildren; & nine great-
grandchildren.
