JABELL CONNELLY STONG, 88, was the daughter of Jape
& Bellza Connelly. She was born June 15, 1917 and died
June 16, 2005 while living in Jackson, MS. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1935 at Ranger, TX.
She taught dance, tennis & archery at the University of
Oklahoma in her early years. Her son, Connelly Stong,
lives in Jackson, MS. She had two sisters, Julia Anne
Connelly Cannon (RHS-1933) & Lolita Connelly (RHS-1927),
who became a teacher and taught in Ranger early in her
career.
