IMOGENE STAFFORD HINMAN, 81, a longtime residence
of Ranger, TX died on June 25, 2001, with burial at Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger.
Imogene was born on Jan. 2, 1920 in Ranger, TX, to Pink
& Amanda Woods Stafford. She graduated from Ranger High
School in 1936. Imogene married Mellenger Max Jacoby in 1936
and had two sons, Eddie Leroy and Mac A. Jacoby. Later she
married Bill O. Hinman in 1950 who preceded her in death in
1961. Imogene lived in Houston and moved back to Ranger in
1966. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Ranger.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Jacoby (RHS-1957),
in 1990.
Survivors at the time of her death are her son; Mac A. Jacoby
(RHS-1960) of Allen; daughter-in-law; Marie Jacoby of Allen;
granddaughter; Michele Jacoby Foust of Sachse; and by her
friend and companion, John Walton of Ranger.
PARENTS: PINK & AMANDA WOODS STAFFORD lived
in Ranger, TX for most of their life's. Pink Stafford
married Amanda Woods in 1918. They had one daughter
Imogene Stafford (RHS-1936), two grandsons Eddie Jacoby
(RHS-1957) & Mac Jacoby (RHS-1960). Pink died in 1949
and Amanda in 1965. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery
in Ranger.
