JOHN BARCUS COALSON, 81, died April 15, 1999
in Arizona. Barcus was born on Oct. 13, 1917
to Mr. & Mrs. C.C. Coalson of Ranger, TX. He
was a graduate of Ranger High School and of
Ranger Jr. College. He entered the service
of the U.S. Air Corps in 1941 and became an
instructor after receiving his commission on
Aug. 15, 1941. When First Lieutenant Coalson
was stationed at the Army Air Base at Roswell,
NM, he was First Flight Engineering Officer.
His wife was Anita Coalson. Helen Coalson Boen
(RHS-1929) was his sister.
