MATTIE LOUISE VAUGHN POWELL died in 1967,
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
She was the daughter of Mary Ann Wood & Hobart Horace
Vaughn of Ranger, TX & attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1937. She was married to Bobby H. Powell
(RHS-1932). They had two children, a son, Vaughn Powell
and a daughter, Vickie Lynn Powell, both of Tyler, two
grandchildren & two great-grandchildren.
Louise had three sisters, Vera Ann Vaughn Doffer (RHS-
1940), Patsy "Sue" Vaughn Wilkerson (RHS-1949), and
Jewell Katherine "Kay" Vaughn Wylie (RHS-1956) of
Chicago, IL.
