Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1937

Ruby Frasier Smith RUBY EULONE FRASIER SMITH, 94, went to be with her Lord on July 29, 2012 in DeLeon, TX. She was born on Dec. 2, 1917 in Durand, MI, to Franklin Bonaparte Frasier & Abigail Bertha Campaign. She married Richard Revis Smith in May of 1951. Burial was at DeLeon Cemetery in DeLeon, TX. Ruby was a member of the First United Methodist Church of DeLeon. She had lived in DeLeon since 1951, having previously lived in Ranger, TX & attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1937. Ruby taught Sunday School, helped with VBS, loved Bible Study, & was always active in her church. Ruby was a homemaker and loved being a farmer’s wife and a mother. She loved working with crafts, crocheting, baking for Senior Citizens, and playing card games and dominoes. She enjoyed going on trips with her friends and spending time with her family. At the time of her death, she was survived by her son, Craig Smith & wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Dustin Smith and wife, Erin, Kimberly Cantrell and husband, Nic and Kevin Smith; great-grandchild, Aubrey Cantrell; brother, Howard Frasier (RHS-1946) and wife, Dorothy; numerous nieces and nephews; & other extended family. Ruby was preceded by her husband; parents; brothers, Franklin Frasier (RHS-1939) and Robert Frasier (RHS- 1943); and sister-in-law, Wanda Frasier.
