ALPHA LEE ROBINSON BENNETT, 85, of Berea, KY,
formerly of Canyon Lake, TX, died Sept. 27, 2006,
with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1921 and attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1938. Mrs. Bennett was
retired form the Burroughs Corp. where she had
worked for 30 years. Alpha was a member of First
Baptist Church on the Eastern Bypass in Richmond,
a life member of Rebecca Lodge of Texas & a member
of Ranger Exes Association.
She was proceeded in death by: her parents, James &
Anna Mae Robinson; one sister, Fanny Robinson Matthews
(RHS-1941); & one brother, J.B. Robinson (RHS-1938).
At the time of her death, she was survived by: a
daughter, Arritta (Leonard) Morris of Berea; two
sons, James Bennett of Monterey, CA; Madison
(Debbie) Wayne Bennett of Plano, TX; grandchildren,
Mike and Kari Morris, both of Berea, Holly Morris
of Tarzana, CA, Bennett and Jordon Bennett, both
of Plano, TX, and Marsha Kostus.
