JOEPHINE HUBERTA MITCHELL ROSS, 92, of
Grapevine, TX, formerly of Brownwood, died Aug. 22,
2014, with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Park at
Early, TX.
Huberta was born on Dec. 12, 1921 in Strawn, TX to
Hubert & Edith O'Neal Mitchell. She attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1938 at Ranger, TX and
married Robert H. Ross. She retired from the Brown-
wood ISD & was a member of the First United Methodist
Church and the Brewer Friendship Class.
She was preceded in death by her children, Bruce Ross
& DiAnn Nunnelee, her parents & brother, Glen Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughter Vicki and husband,
Eric Lendl of Bedford; son-in-law Larry Nunnelee of
Brownwood; grandchildren, Neely Ray of Austin, Zack
Wristen of Abilene, Tyler Nunnelee of Stephenville
and Erica Lendl of Bedford; six great-grandchildren;
sister-in-law, Willa Mitchell of Sherman; niece Regina
Roberts of Sherman and nephew Kevin Mitchell of Pecos.
