Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1939

Noma Pearce NOMA LOUISE DILWORTH PEARCE, 76, a homemaker, died on Oct. 25, 1999 in Fort Worth, TX, with interment at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Noma Pearce was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Robstown. She moved to Ranger, TX in 1926 & attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1939 & married Elgene Pearce in 1938. Shortly afterward, they moved to Fort Worth. The couple celebrated their 61th anniversary prior to his death in Sept. of 1999. She collected antique clothes and costumes for years and delighted in producing an Antique Style Show with proceeds going to Goodwill Industries. She & Elgene traveled with the Ramblin Sams RV Club for 25 years, making many Church, and past president of the Goodwill Auxiliary Board. She was cherished by her family and friends. Survivors at the time of her death were a son, Elgene Pearce and his wife, Judith, of Houston; daughter, Julia Ann Haines and husband, William, of Benbrook; grandchildren, James Pearce, Jason Pearce, Holly Peritz and husband, Larry, and Heather Haines of New York.
