MARGARET LAVERNE WOOLEY ESTES, 89,
passed away on Nov. 18, 2010, with burial in Chapel
of Angels of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Cemetery.
A longtime resident of Houston, most recently in
Brenham, TX. She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist
Church of Houston for 60 years and Eastern Star in
Roscoe, TX. She will be remembered as a loving wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James
Franklin Estes Sr.; parents, Estel & Matie Wooley;
and brother, Glenn Wooley (RHS-1940).
She is survived by her daughter Linda Margaret Fowler
and husband Jim; son, James Franklin Estes Jr. and
wife Linda; grandchildren, Jill Samples and husband
Steve, Susan Stoltman and husband Troy, Brent Estes
and wife Terry, Paige Murphree and husband Jason;
great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Tyler, Garrett,
Weston, Dillan, Emily, Ryan, Macy, Colby; sisters,
Dorothy Wooley Chandler (RHS-1943), Mildred Wooley
Madley; sister-in-law, Gerry Wooley; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
