B. LOIS SQUYRES BAULCH, 83, of Gainesville, TX
died on Jan. 15, 2006, with burial at the Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Mrs. Baulch was born Aug. 27, 1922 in Ranger to Sentha
Elizabeth Dempsey & Riley O'Neal Squyres. She graduated
from Ranger High School in 1939 & moved to Gainesville
in 1954.
She worked for Kaden the Florist for a number of years
where she developed her lifelong love of growing plants
and flowers. She could grow anything. When she left
Kaden's, she worked at Ranger Arms in Gainesville for 2
years and while there she actually made her own 25.06
rifle. She loved camping and deer hunting with her son
and grandsons. After leaving Ranger Arms she worked &
retired from Weber Aircraft.
She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary where she
was very active during her younger years.
She is survived by sons Bobby Alexander and wife Terry of
Gainesville, Robert Thacker of Gainesville, Barry Mathis,
and Clifton Mathis and wife Mary of Ranger; two daughters,
Darlene Dudenhoeffer and husband Daniel of Lindsay, and
Sharon Biggar of Arkansas; sister Helen Squyres Sparks
(RHS-1951) of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Daryl & Dana
Dudenhoeffer, Daria and Greg Wolf, Jordan Alexander, all
of Gainesville, Brad and Marty Bugg of Saint Jo, Bobbie
Alexander of Las Vegas, Cindy Shoemaker of Princeton, Kevin
Biggar of Leonard; her best friend, Lena Clodfelter; and
16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister,
Eunice Florene Cole (RHS-1944); and her brother, Ernest
Myrl Squyres (RHS-1940).
