MARY E. WILLIAMS BARGSLEY, 88, of Springtown,
TX went to be with Jesus on Feb. 2, 2010, with
interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Mary was born March 13, 1921 to J.R. and Eleanor
Williams in Mineral Wells, TX. She lived her
childhood near Ranger, TX & attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1939. She met & married
James Bargsley. Mary was a longtime resident of
both Fort Worth & Springtown. She loved to teach
Sunday school & taught the Bible for 60 years. She
received “Woman of the Year” award by Volunteers
of America.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband
James; a brother; and infant twins.
Survivors include daughters, Margaret Fendley and
husband, Bobby of Reno, Eleanor Dittmar & husband,
Nolan of Arlington; 8 grandchildren, three of whom
she raised: Trevor, Jennifer, and Jeremy; numerous
great-grandchildren; also a host of friends and
acquaintances.
