OPAL KATHERINE RAMSEY LITTLE, 96, went
home to be with the Lord on Oct. 20, 2018 at
her home at the Woodlands, with remains laid to
rest at the Eastland City Cemetery in Eastland,
TX.
Opal was born on Dec. 29, 1921 in Ranger, TX. Her
parents were H.G. (Grady) & Florence Kyle Ramsey.
She graduated from Ranger High School in 1939 and
attended Ranger Jr. College, graduating from McMurry
with a BA Degree and a Masters degree in Education.
Opal taught school for 33 years, retiring from
Eastland ISD in 1982.
She and Rudolph Little were married in 1947 and
had one son born in 1948. She was a member of the
Methodist church, being very active in all phases
of church work. She was a charter member, and part-
time teacher, of the Suzannah Wesley Sunday School
class.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband; son; two
sisters Marie Ramsey Mahaffey (RHS-1937) and Mary
Ramsey Anderson (RHS-1934); one nephew; & parents.
Survived by two nieces, three nephews, and several
cousins.
