LLOYD DOUGLAS BECK, 62, died on March 9, 1986 in
Dallas, TX. He was born Aug. 11, 1924 in Ranger, TX
to George & Katie Dupree Beck. He attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1941 & married Florence
Storey. His siblings were Andrew Beck, Charles Beck,
Arthur Beck, Reuben Beck and Alta Beck Carroll.
BROTHER: ARTHUR SAMUEL BECK, 90, died at his home
after a lengthy illness, with interment at Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Mr. Beck was born in Stephens County and attended school
in Bullock. He married Una Oneda Bowen in Ranger in 1980.
He worked for TP Oil as a supervisor, Olin Smith Welding,
and Reynolds Welding of McCamie before returning to Ranger
in 1975. He was a previous Mason and a member of First
Baptist Church.
Survivors at the time of his death include his wife of
Ranger; three daughters, Beverly Stewart, Sue Simmons,
and Jackie Bush, all of Ranger; one son, Ron Beck of
Austin; one sister, Alta Carroll; 17 grandchildren; 34
great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
