KATHLEEN NORRIS JAMES ROSE, 87, passed away on
March 22, 2011 in DeSoto, TX.
Kathleen was born April 1, 1923 in Ranger, TX, the
daughter of Ada and Mason James. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1941 and married
Dave Rose in 1939 at Ranger. She worked for many
years at Jim Caldwell Motors in Eastland.
At the time of her death, she was survived by sons
Larry D. Rose and wife Doris of Tom Bean, and Jerry
Rose and wife Vickie of Grand Prairie, and daughter
Jan Stafford of Oak Cliff, brother Bill James and
wife of Jacksboro and sister Louise McCranney of
Red Oak, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren,
and 1 great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband
Dave Rose and brothers Edwin (RHS-1939) and Carl
James.
