Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1941

Claudine Jarvis Miley CLAUDINE JARVIS MILEY, 95, was born Feb. 9, 1925 in Bluffdale, TX and passed away March 19, 2020 in Fort Worth, TX, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery at Fort Worth. Claudine graduated from Ranger High School at Ranger, TX in 1941 and graduated from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth in 1944 with a degree in Accounting. Claudine married Grover Miley in Sept. of 1944 while both were attending TCU, and Grover still in the U.S. Navy. When her husband was transferred by the Navy to San Diego, Claudine worked as an accountant for an aircraft manufacturer. For many years, she served as church secretary for congre- gations in Fort Worth & Houston. She was a member of the Burleson Church of Christ. Claudine loved to travel, often by cruise ship. She visited several European countries such as Greece, France, Italy, England, Egypt and China, surviving seven days in a China Seas typhoon. She & her husband enjoyed numerous shared experiences during her lifetime. Claudine is survived by a son, Gary Miley and wife, Nancy; a daughter, Sandra Cutshall; granddaughter, Heather Cutshall; grandsons, Jeff Miley and wife, Jennifer, Jason Miley and wife, Stephanie & Jeremy Miley; great-grandson, Aiden Panapasa; great-grand- daughters, Caitlyn Miley, Carlee Miley and Katarina Miley; and great-great-granddaughter, Natalee Miley. BROTHER: JAMES WALTER JARVIS, 75, a retired electrician with Hurst Electric Co., died Feb. 17, 2005. Mr. Jarvis was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Ranger, TX to Claudia Berry & William Jarvis. He attended Allen Military Academy. Survivors: Wife, Jaunice Jarvis; daughters, Georgann Self and husband, Troy, and Kelea Wells and husband, John; son, Todd Jarvis and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Tobi, David, Michael, Melissa, Makayla, Sam, Steven, Jackie, Erin, Christopher, Charlotte and Catherine; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Kelly, Michael, Beth, Branson, Davis and Dakota; sister, Claudean Miley (RHS-1941) and family; in-laws, Jerry Fry & family and Letta Fry and family; and best friend, J.P. Alexander.
