JOYCE AMES, 77, a retired credit manager for
Ben Hogan Golf Co., died on July 14, 2001 in
Fort Worth, TX, with interment in Acton Cemetery
at Acton.
Joyce Ames was born in Ranger, TX on Nov. 19,
1923. She attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1942. She retired from Ben Hogan
Golf Co. after 35 years of service.
Survivors at the time of her death: son, Larry
Ames and wife, Mary; brother, Harold Ames (RHS-
1939) and wife, Tommie of Acton; sisters, Dorothy
Keener (RHS-1935) of Benbrook and Helen Ames
Echols (RHS-1945) of White Settlement; & numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.
