Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1942

Fay Crabtree Bargsley Coy Bargsley FAY LENORA CRABTREE BARGSLEY of Olden, TX was born on Sept. 25, 1924 in the Colony Community and she went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 21, 2016 at the age of 92, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Fay attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1942 at Ranger and was a member of the Ranger Exes Association. She had been a member of Second Baptist Church of Ranger for 68 years; she became a member in 1938. She married Coy Bargsley at Amarillo, TX in Aug. of 1954. Coy & Fay have been married for 62 years. They lived in the La Casa community many years before moving to Olden. Fay worked many years for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Fay was preceded in death by her parents William Burton & Alice Crabtree and four brothers, and her best friend sister-in-law Glenna Weaver Crabtree (RHS-1948). She is survived by her husband, Coy Bargsley; brother, Jim Crabtree (RHS-1946) & wife Ruby; and many nieces and nephews who were very precious to her. HUSBAND: COY L. BARGSLEY, 92, of Ranger, TX was born Jan. 9, 1925 in La Casa, TX and passed away on June 6, 2017, with interment at the Macedonia Cemetery in La Casa Community. Coy had been a member of New Hope Baptist Church for 80 years. He was a Master Mason and a Veteran of WWII and served in the 41st division. He was an independent oil producer and a lifetime rancher on property that had been in his family for over 100 years. Coy met and married Fay Crabtree (RHS-1942) in Aug. of 1954. Coy and Fay had been married for 62 years when she preceded him in death in 2016. Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Geneva Bargsley; sisters, Mabel Newnham and Delma Cantwell; brothers, Virgil, James, and Madison Bargsley. He is survived by sisters, Ruby Bargsley Leonard (RHS-1952) and husband Gilbert of Abilene, TX & Betty Howton of Weatherford, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Roy Varner and Buzzy Ruthledge.
