Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1943 RJC

Jim Wallace JIM WALLACE, 89, of Levelland, TX, passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2016, with interment in the Whitharrel Cemetery. He was born in Caddo, TX to H.X. & Katreen Wallace on Jan. 28, 1926. Jim was raised in Ranger, TX, where he attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1943 and Ranger College. During WW II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a gunner & instructor. Upon completing his service to our country, he returned to college & graduated from Texas Tech University. While at Tech he met the love of his life, and married Margaret Israel of Levelland in 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret Wallace of Levelland; daughter, Teresa & husband, W.H. Bubba Rowell; their daughter, Rossianna of Big Springs, TX, and her daughter and son; son, Cody and wife, Sarah of Garland, TX, and their son; son, Bill and wife, Tanna of Levelland; their daughter, Whitney and husband, Levi Box & their three children, all of Levelland, TX; one sister, Mary Ann Wallace Cowan (RHS-1954) of Ft. Worth, TX, and her son, Matt and his wife, Julie and their two girls; along with a host of many friends and neighbors who will greatly miss him. His brother was Jack Wallace (RHS-1940).
