HELEN RUTH WATSON JENKINS was born on
Aug. 12, 1926 in Ranger, TX to James & Amy Watson.
She passed away Jan. 25, 2017, in Bedford, TX at
the age of 90. Helen attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1943 at Ranger, TX. Burial was at
Andrews County Cemetery in Andrews, TX.
She was a longtime resident of Midland, TX from
1978 to 2014, when she moved to Bedford to be closer
to her son and the rest of the family. She was an
active member with Kelview Heights Baptist Church
from 1981 to 2014.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, John;
two sons, Greg and Gary; her parents, James & Amy;
and two sisters, Nona Watson Harris (RHS-1939) &
Laverne Watson Little (RHS-1940).
She is survived by son, Doug and his wife Linda;
five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
