EARLE KATHRYN BRITTON GIBSON, 72, died on Jan. 11,
1998, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens at
Odessa, TX. She was born on Dec. 21, 1925 in
Ranger, TX to Earl K. & Lillie M. Britton. She
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1943
and Texas State College for Women at Denton, TX.
Later Kathryn returned to Ranger and was on the
faculty of RHS for 1947-1948. She married Earskin
R. Gibson in 1949. Her older sister was Lina J.
Britten plus a step-sister Effie M. Garden.
