MARY CATHERYN MCHENRY ROBERTSON, 78, died
June 23, 2006, at Castaic, CA, where she had
recently moved to be near her daughter. She
had formerly lived at Abilene, TX. Mary
attended Ranger High School in the Class of
1944 at Ranger, TX and in 1947 married, Joe
W. Robertson, who died in 2005.
Mary Catheryn was born March 27, 1928, in Dallas
and was the adopted daughter of Catheryn Guest
McHenry and Ray McHenry. Mary Catheryn and Joe
had one daughter, Mary Ann Robertson Friant and
her husband, Lew Friant, an NBC cameraman, who
live in Castaic, CA, & 2 granddaughters, Jennifer
and Catheryn Alice Friant. Her brother, Francis
McHenry (RHS-1940) lives in Panorama City, CA.
Mary Catheryn graduated from Texas Tech and taught
school in West Texas and later also worked in a
construction office in Midland. She & Joe lived
in several West Texas cities before they lived in
Abilene.
