RAYMOND MORRIS HOWARD, 85, passed away and went
to live with the Lord on Nov. 6, 2010. Interment:
As a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy, he was
buried in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Raymond was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Ranger, TX and
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1944.
He was a great-father, grandfather and friend. He
was known among his Christian family as one of the
finest guitar players around & played for 16 years
as the lead guitarist for "The Singing Gibbs Family."
His music blessed and inspired many people. He was
loved by everyone who knew him. His smile & wonderful
sense of humor will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years,
Thelma Howard; two daughters, Patricia Diane Deal
and Julie Ritchie; and one son, Dale Ritchie.
Survivors at the time of his death: daughters,
Schatzi Hageman, Sandra Braudaway & Debra O'Keefe;
son, Danny Howard; sister, Norma Jean Tow; 11
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.
