LOWE W. "BOBBY" WALLACE, 87, of Strawn, TX, passed
from this life at his home on June 3, 2014, with
burial at Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn.
Bob was born Sept. 26, 1926 in Ranger, TX to Lowe W.
Wallace & Johnnie Lowery Wallace. He graduated from
Ranger High School in 1944/45 & Christ for the Nations
College. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S.
Air Force. He married Ruby Purvis in Dec. of 1980.
He was a pipe line welder, Minister and a Pilot. He was
a member of Pipeliners Union #798, Pastored Believers
Fellowship Church in Cross Plains for ten years and New
Life Church in Rising Star, TX for two years. He loved
to oil paint, fly airplanes and play golf.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife
Ruby; one son, David Guy Wallace; one daughter, Rachel
Gay Dyson; 4 step-children, Ann Hamilton, Dwayne Purvis,
Kay Roberson, and Donnie Purvis; one grandson, Scotty
Tanner; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-
grandchildren.
