Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1945

Lillian Adams Boney LILLIAN CORDELIA ADAMS BONEY, 89, passed away on April 6, 2018, with burial in Ranger, TX. She was born on Aug. 2, 1928 in Ranger, TX to Walter & Annie Adams. She was named after her two grandmas Lillian Valentine & Cordelia Adams. Lillian attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1945. After a hard life on the farm, she went to Dallas and attended secretarial school, then worked for the City of Dallas Water Department. While in Ranger visiting family she met and married Jack Crockett Boney (RHS-1943) in April of 1948. They eventually became self employed doing construction work. This provided them a good life style and a wonderful retirement full of National & International travel. She is remembered by her children as a loving and kind woman. Her motto was always "If you can't say something good don't say anything at all" and she lived by that rule. She taught her kids and lived by the golden rule. She was a long standing member of United Methodist Church. She loved Jesus and her family with all her heart. Lillian is survived by 2 brothers, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and took care of through the years. All of which will miss her love, her smile and her tender loving care. Her brother was Carlton Adams (RHS-1942). She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Clare Mae Adams Cox (RHS-1950), & brother Welton Adams (RHS-1946).
