ANNA J. BASHAM WILLIAMS, 92, passed from this
life to the next on Feb. 7, 2021, with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Anna J. "Memaw" Basham was born April 11, 1928
in Copperas Cove, TX to Henry & Viola Northcutt
Basham. She attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1945 at Ranger, TX. She married Ray
Williams (RHS-1937) in Jan. of 1949 at Ranger
and he preceded her in death in 1986. Anna
attended the Church of Christ, & worked for
Harval in the shipping department. Memaw will
especially be remembered for her love & devotion
to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
husband.
Survivors include her son, Richard and wife,
Margaret and grandson, Charles Rayford Horatio
Williams of Ranger, TX; daughter, Margaret
"Maggie" Catherall and grandson, Billy Ray
Catherall and wife, Elissa all of Abilene;
granddaughter, Traci Fulgham and husband, Troy
of Abilene; great-granddaughter, Desi Langford;
& great-great-granddaughter, Brilyn of Abilene.
