MARGIE FALK LASATER passed away on June 23, 2022
at a good old age of age 92 and full of days, with
burial in the Murray Cemetery.
Margie was born in Ranger, TX to Gus & Ada (Rose)
Falk. She attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1946. She was married to Arldene Lasater in Feb.
of in Ranger. She was an artist as well as a loving
mom to three sons; Lynden, Ron and Terry; & wonderful
grandmother to five grandchildren and six great-grand-
children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arldene
Lasater, her parents, Gus and Ada Falk, and brother,
Gene Falk (RHS-1944).
Margie is survived by her three sons, Ronald & spouse,
Ottie, Lynden and spouse, Tammy, Terry and spouse,
Jeannette; grandchildren, Angela Lauren Lasater,
Melissa Kilgore, Keesha Orrell, Joshua Lasater and
Victoria Lasater; great-grandchildren, Jack D. and
Bristol Orrell, Bryce D. Alvarez, James D., McKenna
Kilgore and Logan Ayres Lasater.
HUSBAND: ARLDENE LASATER, 91, of Carbon, TX passed
away May 30, 2015, with burial in the Murray Cemetery.
Arldene was born on April 20, 1924 in Eastland County,
TX to John Ambers Lasater and Trannie Mae (Norris)
Lasater. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He
married Margie Lena Falk in Feb. of 1948 in Ranger.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 45 years as
a rural mail carrier. He also farmed for many years
and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers,
George, John, Alvin, Tom and Elzo Lasater.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Lasater of Carbon;
three sons, Ronald Lasater and wife, Ottie of High
Point, NC, Lynden Lasater and friend Tammy Berrier
of Gorman and Terry Lasater and wife, Jeannette of
Fort Worth; a sister, Rozel Caraway of Eastland; five
grandchildren, Lauren and spouse, Jo, Keesha and
spouse, John, Melissa and spouse, Cody, Joshua and
Victoria and three great grandchildren, Jack, Bryce
and Bristol.
