MARY ELIZABETH RICHARDS MARTIN, 73, died July 31,
2003, in Hobbs, NM.
She was born May 21, 1930, in Fort Worth, TX and
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1947
at Ranger, TX. She married E. Leldon Martin (RHS-
1942) in Jan. of 1948 in Ranger.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the board of directors
for the American Lung Association in Texas and New
Mexico. She was a Methodist. Mary was preceded in
death by a brother, Ross Richards (RHS-1945).
Survivors include her husband of Hobbs; one daughter,
Julie Martin of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons,
Emmett & Richard Martin, both of Hobbs; one brother,
Dr. Barna Richards of Arlington, TX; her mother,
Winona Richards of Hobbs; and nine grandchildren.
