JEAN WOODS NUGENT, 85, our Mother, Grandmother
and Friend passed into the loving arms of her
Savior, June 18, 2016, with interment at Restlawn
Memorial Gardens in Pocatello, ID.
Jean was born June 22, 1930 in Ranger, TX. Even
though she has been away from Texas for 60+ years,
her heart was as if she never left, she kept her
southern drawl to the end. She attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1949. Jean met Wayne
Nugent and their friendship became marriage in
1952. They made their home in Aberdeen & Chubbuck.
Jean enjoyed her family & friends, and was always
giving a helping hand. She was a participating
member of the Church Of Christ
Jean is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Greg)
Colvin, Salmon, ID; a son, Mike Nugent, Chubbuck,
ID; two grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Taylor &
Michael (Ashley) Colvin; & five great-grandchildren,
Madyson, Mazzie, Ashton, Bella and Owen.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne
Nugent; parents, Azeala & Henry Woods; two brothers,
Gordon Woods and Melvin Woods (RHS-1939); and one
sister, Betty Jo Woods Kelly (RHS-1939).
