Alvin Thames ALVIN THAMES, 78, passed away June 15, 2010 in Ranger, TX, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger. Alvin was born on Oct. 6, 1931 in Siemen, TX, to Roscoe & Patty (Needham) Thames. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Neeta Thames; daughter, Nelda McKenzie (RHS-1970) and husband Kenneth of Ranger; one brother; one sister; grandchildren, Johnny Kunsman and Jason McGlothlin and four great-grandchildren. WIFE: NEETA FAYE LINDSEY THAMES, 78, of Burkburnett, TX passed away Dec. 14, 2012. Mrs. Thames was born Feb. 21, 1934 in Abilene to Alonzo & Juanita M. (Guthrie) Lindsey. She married Alvin Thames who preceded her in death in 2010. She was a waitress, homemaker, and Baptist. Survivors include three daughters, Nelda McKenzie of Ranger, Margie Pabon of Riverside, CA, and Missy Jacobs of Wichita Falls; a brother, Owen Sellers of Junction; a sister, Bobbie Hazard of Eastland; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
