Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1950

Doncia McGraw DONCIA LEA "DONNIE" McGRAW REYNOLDS, 83, passed away Aug. 20, 2014 in Fort Worth, TX, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Doncia Lea McGraw was born July 30, 1931 in Ranger to Burl and Ellie (Key) McGraw. She graduated from Ranger High School in 1950 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and was a loving mom, grandmom and great-gran. Donnie was preceded in death by her brother Burl McGraw and his wife Betty, her brother Fred McGraw and his wife Elenore and her sister Ella Nora Wiesen. Another sister was Annie McGraw Anderson (RHS-1937). Survivors at the time of her death include her sons, Rodney Reynolds of Georgia & Ricky Reynolds of Gilmer; her daughter, Jennifer Spadoni of Olden; grandchildren, Megan Reynolds of California, and Christy Robinson and her husband Tim of Ft. Worth; her great-granddaughter Brooklyn Robinson; her nephews Freddy and Jason Wiesen and numerous other nieces and nephews. BROTHER: BURL D. "MAC" MCGRAW, 77, of Olden, TX died Feb. 13, 2002, with burial in the Merriman Cemetery near Ranger, TX. Mr. McGraw was born on March 30, 1924 in Ranger to Burl D., Sr. and Ellie Nora (Key) McGraw. He grew up in Ranger. After graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Army in 1943. He served in the 270th Field Artillery Unit of Patton's Army in Europe, earning 5 Bronze Stars. After his honorable discharge in 1945, he returned to Ranger and graduated from Cisco Jr. College. He married Bettye Yielding in December of 1945 in Olden. They moved to California for a short time before returning to Olden. He worked for Perkins Implement in Eastland for 26 years. He had worked for Lone Star Gas. In 1980, he opened Mac's Tractor Repair in Olden where he enjoyed restoring antique Ford tractors. He enjoyed telling stories about his grandchildren and he was a member of the Merriman Baptist Church. Survivors at the time of his death are his wife, Bettye McGraw of Olden; a son, David McGraw of Arlington; a brother, Felton McGraw of Torrance, California; three sisters, Anna Lou Anderson (RHS-1937) of Aspermont, Ella Nora Wiesen of Ranger and Donnie Reynolds (RHS-1950) of Olden; two grand-daughters, Shelley Yeary of Plano and Sherrey McGraw of Dallas.
