BOBBY W. BURNETT, 75, of Snyder, TX passed away on
Sept. 28, 2010 in Conroe TX, with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Bobby W Burnett was born August 29, 1935 in Ranger, TX, to
Nathan & Opal Burnett. He attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1954 and moved to Snyder in the early 50s.
He was a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ. He was
a volunteer Fireman and coached little league baseball for
a number of years. He worked for Chevron (Sacroc Unit) for
many years and retired in 1988. He opened Burnett Safety
Services in 1981 and retired in 2007 after becoming ill. He
moved to Abilene with his son, Mickey, until 2008 and then
went to Conroe, TX with his daughter, Vickie, where he resided
at his time of death. His family was his life. He was a great
dad, papa and friend. He will be missed very much by many.
He is survived by two sons, Mickey Burnett of Abilene TX and
Tim Burnett of Crowley, TX, one daughter Vickie Denson and
husband Bill Denson of Conroe, TX and their mother Patricia
Collins of San Angelo, TX, one brother James Burnett (RHS-1954)
of Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and
his dogs Cocoa and Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Burnett, his
mother and step-father Opal & George Patton, two sisters
Zona Gore and June Burnett Cox (RHS-1950) and his beloved
dog Baby Girl.
SON: TIMOTHY CURT BURNETT, 58, went to be with his
Heavenly Father on Jan. 18, 2019, with burial next to his
father in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
He was born May 1st, 1960 in Snyder, TX to parents Bobby
Burnett & Patricia Collins where he lived most of his
childhood years.
He had two sons Harley & Davison Burnett. They blessed him
with five grandchildren, Dylan, Corbyn, Kurynn, Destiny &
Kylie as well as four step-grandchildren Noah, Breanna,
Hailee & Brayden.
Tim was survived by the love of his life, Julie of Dallas,
TX, his mother & step-father Patricia & Bobby Collins of
Abilene, his son Harley and daughter-in-law, Valerie of
Abilene, son Davison and daughter-in-law Penelope of
Oklahoma, grandchildren Dylan, Corbyn, Kurynn, Destiny,
Kylie & step grandchildren Noah, Breanna, Hailee & Brayden.
His brother Mickey Burnett of Abilene, sister Vickie Burnett
of The Woodlands & Step Brother Bobby Collins Jr & wife
Susan of Midland.
He was preceded in death by his father Bobby W. Burnett
(RHS-1954), father-in-law Dick Watts & step-brother
Richard Collins.
