HOWARD HOWELL OLIVER, JR., 23, was born June 30, 1938,
to Pauline Maye and Howard Howell Oliver, Sr. His
mother died giving birth to a son a few years later
and the child died as well. Howard Oliver, Sr., later
married Annie Lorene Harrell (RHS-1933) and they had a
daughter, Dorothy Ann Oliver (RHS-1967) at Ranger, TX.
Howard Jr. was killed in 1961 in an airplane crash in
Arkansas. Both Lorene Oliver and her daughter Dorothy
Ann taught in elementary schools at Ranger. Howard, Jr.
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1956 at
Ranger.
Howard's sister, Dorothy Ann Oliver, married Mike Fisher
(RHS-196) and they live at Lake Leon. Mrs. Lorene Harrell
Oliver resides in Ranger. Howard Oliver, Sr. died in
Ranger in 1975.
