ROBERT "BOB" LEE DOWNTAIN, 79, passed
away on Jan. 18, 2018.
He was born on May 3, 1938 in Ranger, TX to Dr.
William Leslie Downtain and Mary Belle Cooper
Downtain. Bob attended St. Rita's Catholic
School in Ranger and graduated from Ranger
High School in the Class of 1956. He was a past
director of the Ranger Exes Association.
A godson, Brendan Kennedy who was like a son to
Robert, his wife Teri & their children who Robert
lovingly called his grandchildren, Rebecca, John,
Marissa, Samuel, Mark and Sarah, all of Valencia,
CA; cousins Norman and Sue Rodawalt of Irving,
Thomas & Phyllis Downtain of Allen, Martha Cooper
of Shreveport LA, & several second & third cousins.
