CLAUDE A. KOENIG, 84, of Bartlett, IL, veteran
of the U.S. Army, passed away on Jan. 22, 2023, with
burial in Acacia Park Cemetery with Military Honors.
He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1956
at Ranger, TX.
Beloved husband of Patricia nee Bennett. Loving father
of Mark (Melissa) and Robert. Dear step-father of Mary
Vruno, Ed Bergen and Anne Koenig. Beloved son of the
late Albert Koenig (RHS-faculty) and the late Claudia
Koenig (RHS-faculty). Cherished grandfather of Kirsten
(Evan), Nicholas and Matthew. Dear brother of Robert
Koenig (RHS-1961, Linda), the late George Koenig (RHS-
1960, the late Sandy) and the late Mara (Ford) Smith.
Fond uncle and great-uncle to many.
