CAROL LYNN GETTS BELDING, 73, passed away peacefully
Aug. 11, 2013 with her family at her side. Carol
was a beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-
Grandmother and sister. Interment was at Palo
Pinto Cemetery.
She was born in Gladewater, TX on Aug. 28, 1939,
to Ralph and Virginia Judy (RHS-1931) Getts. She
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1957
at Ranger, TX. Carol had one of the toughest jobs
around, a homemaker, and she did a wonderful job
at it. She was also a member of Community Church
of Possum Kingdom, and loved working and spending
time with her church family; this is when she was
not spending it with her grandchildren, whom she
cherished very much.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her
husband William "Bill" James Belding Jr.; sons: Ronnie
and wife Janice Moore, William Henry Belding III and
Douglas and wife Lisa Belding; grandchildren: Priesley
Rodgers, Kaili Moore, Gregory and Kelley Belding;
great-grandchildren: Miranda and Reagan Belding;
sisters: Jeanne Getts Jackson (RHS-1959),Mary Judy
Getts Calhoun (RHS-1960) and Peggy Getts Smith.
She was preceded in death by son: David Belding;
sister: Betty Jane Getts Kite; brother: Richard
"Dick" Getts (RHS-1955); grandsons: Justin and
Phillip Belding; brother-in-law: Don Jackson.
